Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
S, who is married with three children, has unfortunately broken his knee. He is off work and only receives Statutory Sick Pay which does not cover the household bills. Their fridge freezer has broken and, as they are unable to replace it, are having to buy fresh food everyday at a cost which they cannot afford. The family is finding it very difficult to ask for help, but has no option at this difficult time.
Still £200 left to donate

Still £100 left to donate
Total needed £100Help is needed for a mum of three to replace her broken fridge freezer. This lady has health problems and is undergoing more tests for a problem with her vision. She is unable to work and has received help from the local foodbank. Unfortunately, mum has no savings and her low income from Universal Credit means she is unable to save enough to replace her fridge and freezer. Having to buy fresh food daily for her family is very expensive and a replacement fridge freezer would make a huge difference.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200S, who lives in a one bedroom first floor flat, has neurological problems with chronic pain that affects her mobility. She can feel isolated and her condition can worsen from time to time, requiring her to put her legs up, but she only has an armchair and a bed in her flat. Only a small sofa would fit in, but it would allow relief from pain and enable S to receive another person in her flat. Acts 435 is asked to fund a small item of furniture that would make such a difference to her life.
